Villa security —
a system, not devices.

Many people buy cameras, then an alarm, then a smart lock — each from a different vendor, each with its own app. The result is four apps that never talk to one another. That isn't a security system; it's a pile of devices.

The difference between a device and a system

A device tells you what happened. A system acts: motion is detected at the fence after midnight, the exterior lights come on automatically, a clip is recorded, and an alert with the image reaches you.

That sequence needs no artificial intelligence — it needs integration designed in from the start between the camera, the lighting and the alarm.

Three layers, not one

The perimeter: fence cameras and outdoor motion sensors — their job is deterrence and early warning.

The entry points: the main door, the service door and the garage — a face camera and an access reader.

The interior: hallways and the safe room — fewer cameras, placed more precisely, with privacy respected inside the rooms.

Access control matters more than a smart lock

A smart lock opens the door. Access control answers: who came in, when, with what permission, and who revoked it.

That matters in a villa that a driver, a housekeeper and maintenance workers all enter — each group gets a permission with set hours that can be revoked with one tap.

The first-fix wiring sets the ceiling

Everything above is possible and relatively cheap if it is wired before finishing: conduits, cabling, an enclosure and a backup power source.

After finishing, everything has to go wireless by necessity — which is weaker, shorter-lived and more prone to interference. That's why the AB-570 standard begins at the shell stage.

Practical takeaways

  • Design the whole system before buying the first device
  • Spread protection across three layers: perimeter, entry points, interior
  • Ask for real integration, not four separate apps
  • Wire it before finishing — at that stage the cost is just cable
  • Respect privacy: no cameras inside the rooms
