How we write and review technical content

Our knowledge center is not an advertising space. We explain technical decisions and clearly distinguish official requirements, engineering guidance and field experience.

Three levels of information

Official requirement

We link to the regulator or official document and state its scope and date when it affects a decision.

Engineering guidance

We explain the reason and limitations behind rules such as cable distance or storage capacity, without presenting them as law.

Field experience

We label observations drawn from installation and failure patterns, which may vary by building and use case.

Technical review

Articles are checked from design, installation and operations perspectives: can the advice be used at a real site, does it confuse a device with a complete system, and are the assumptions that change the result clear?

Source order

  1. Saudi laws, regulations and official government sources.
  2. Original technical standards and manufacturer documentation.
  3. Verifiable engineering calculations and measurements.
  4. Field experience, explicitly identified as such.

Updates and corrections

Regulations, products and practices change. We update an article when a newer official reference appears or an inaccuracy is found. Send corrections with the page link to info@abtech.sa.

We start from your site — not from a device list.

A one-minute estimate from the smart advisor, or an on-site survey — both free.
